The Sights, sounds and history of firefighting come to life at The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum

Housed in the 1899 Victorian firehouse Reily Hose Company No. 10, the museum houses an outstanding collection of artifacts from the hand-drawn equipment of yesterday to the modern tools of today.

Fire Kills - Be prepared.

  • Large apparatus room with various unique fire engines
  • Fully restored and operational Gamewell alarm headquarters donated by the city of Johnstown, Pennsylvania
  • 9' x 16', 32-screen VIDEO WALL with a free presentation every thirty minutes
  • 1867 parade carriage, called the "Jennie Cameron," won in a contest by the Hope Steam Engine Co. 2, which raised the most money for the Civil War monument.
  • Hundreds of items on display ranging from firefighters' tools to fancy parade helmets, belts, uniforms and other interesting items too numerous to mention.
  • Extensive stovepipe parade hat collection from the 18th and 19th centuries.
